How Sarah Sundin Weaves God Into Every Story (Episode 114)
On this episode of “The Romantic Side of Suspense,” my guest is Sarah Sundin, the bestselling author of When Twilight Breaks, Until Leaves Fall in Paris, The Sound of Light, and the popular WWII series Sunrise at Normandy, among others. She is a Christy Award winner and a Carol Award winner, and her novels have received starred reviews from Booklist, Library Journal, and Publishers Weekly, and have appeared on Booklist’s “101 Best Romance Novels of the Last 10 Years.” Sarah lives in California.
“The Christian part is the easiest part [for me to write] … because it’s my worldview. It’s how I see God active in the world around us,” Sarah said. “It’s really hard for me to write a story where God isn’t part of it.”

I enjoyed your interview with Sarah Sundin. I have read most of her books as she writes about WWII and places I have been to. I served four years (1966 – 1970) in the US Navy traveling the world – twice around the world, five continents, and thirty countries in just 48 months. An education like you just can not imagine! My other favorite author is Dani Pettrey.
I read a book – then my wife of 50 years reads it – then we pass it on to our daughters – and now my 15 year old granddaughter is reading them! That’s three generations of intense readers.
Thank you for taking the time to share the interview.
