A Conversation With Tanya Stowe

Tanya Stowe is an author of Christian fiction with an unexpected edge. She fills her stories with the unusual, such as mysteries, adventures and even murder. No matter where Tanya takes you—on a trip to foreign lands or a suspenseful journey filled with danger—be prepared for the extraordinary.

What’s the hardest part of writing romantic suspense?
Tanya: Definitely trying to solve the suspense. How do you keep someone in danger for over 200 pages?

When do you find time to write?
Tanya: I write early in the morning. My husband and I travel fulltime in our RV, so I’m freshest and it’s quiet at that time.

Why do you like writing romantic suspense?
Tanya: I love the action and the adventure. That keeps the story interesting for me.

Where do you get the inspiration for your plots?
Tanya: When we travel, I read about different things in that area or see interesting sights that inspire me to create scenarios and situations.

Have you ever regretted killing off a character?
Tanya: No! My bad guys usually betray or hurt someone and I have no trouble getting rid of them in my story! Lol.

Current book: Mojave Rescue
